Red 6 Mic-pre & Equaliser

The Red 6 has the same superb mic pre-amp as the Red 1 and 8, with the added bonus of a killer EQ. A high quality output fader offers +6dB gain to infinite attenuation, essential for direct recordings or for accurate level matching after EQ and dynamics. The Red 6 is suitable for a wide range of direct recording applications, employing the same 4-band EQ plus high and low pass filters as used in the Red 2. While the Red 2 does not have a Mic-pre the Red 6 does thereby providing powerful sweetening and corrective facilities prior to recording. Filters and EQ can be independently switched in and out, for fast and easy comparison while setting up. This is one of the sweetest mic pre’s out there if you can find one!
